Aston Martin DBS V-8 It was introduced in the end of September, 1969. It was then claimed to be the fastes four seater production car, capable of a top speed of 170 miles per hour, the car was powered by the 5.4 litre V8. Body design were basically similar to the company's successful DBS 4 litre model, but the V-8 has had a new front underpanel aerodynamically perfected to ensure maximum stability at speeds in excess of 150 mph (max. speed 170 mph). Ligh alloy ventilated wheels were used by AM for the first itme instead of the wire-spoked type. All seats were upholstered in English hide while the luxury specifications include electrically operated windows, pile carpets throughout, reclining seats and an electrically heated reat window.
